How can I search for Items only in my area?

How can I search for Items only in my area?

Does the bid amount include all of the auction fees?

No. The bid amount ONLY includes the price you are willing to pay for the Item. Auction fees, MaxSure Bidders fees, documentation fees, and transportation costs are NOT INCLUDED in the bid and will be added on top of the bid amount.

I got outbit, did I lose my deposit?

If you got outbid/not in the top 3 bidders in any Auction, Your deposit will be automatically released to you with-in 3 working days.

Why do sellers need to approve the sales?

Most item come with a reserve price, which is the term for the minimum price a seller will accept. If you were the highest winning bid, your bid gets submitted to the seller for approval. If the reserve price has not been met, there is a chance that they will still sell for a lower amount. At this time we can try to negotiate with the seller for you for which you will just have to reach out to our customer service team.

How do I know that I am the highest bidder?

. If you are the highest bidder, MaxSure Bidders will email you as soon as the auction has completed. All final winning bids have to go through an approval process with the seller/Insurer. Once approved, your purchase will be informed and bank Details of Insured/Seller will be shared with you for making the payment in prescribed time limit.

What is Dynamic Timing?

The auctions will close at predetermined time. If there are bids near the closing time, in order to give sufficient time to H1 / H2 / other buyers to review and revise their most competitive bid, the auction closing time will shift forward by predetermined dynamic time. There is no limit to the number of times an Auction may be extended in this situation. Some Auctions may have longer extension periods which will be clearly disclosed on the listing. The entire process is automated and software driven and Salvage Managers have no control over the same.

How long am I able to bid on each Item?

Each auction has a "Time Left" indicator at the top right of the auction box. This will inform you how long you have to place your bid before the live online auction begins.

Can I cancel my bid?

Once a bid is placed, it cannot be cancelled or reduced in any way. Make sure that you are confident in your bid before you place it. If you end up winning the bid that you placed by accident, you will be responsible for the vehicle and completing the sale.

What is Reserve Price?

This is the minimum price below which the bids will not be accepted

How do I place a bid?

After completing the registration, login using the same credential. find the Auction item you are interested in. check for any EMD amount. If EMD deposit is require, deposit the EMD first before participating in the Auction. After depositing the EMD, you will get a confirmation email. Once confirmed, you can participate in the Live Auction.

What is MaxSure Bidders and how does it work?

MaxSure Bidders is your destination to purchase clean and salvage vehicles, available through Insurance Auto Auctions. These vehicle auctions were previously only available to those with a dealers license, but now with MaxSure Bidders anyone can bid!

What are the requirements to join MaxSure Bidders?

To become a member, you must provide contact information, including a valid email address, Mobile number, cancel cheque, GST detail, Pancard, address proof.

How soon can I start bidding?

You can begin bidding immediately after you become a member of MaxSure Bidders. In order for a bid to be activated, you must place a refundable security deposit as mention for particular auction, or 10% of the intended maximum bid, whichever one is more, and upload a copy of your ID to your account.

Why do you need a copy of my ID?

We require a copy of your ID for your security and protection. We use your ID to verify the name on the account, and to ensure that all paperwork processed is consistent with the individual who purchased from our portal. We also must verify that the member is over the age of 18. We can only accept government-issued photo ID's. This includes a government-issued identification card, driver's license, or passport etc.
